The 50-year-old actor Brad Pitt sports a new tattoo. The new tattoo was observed on Saturday, May 17, when photographers captured Brad Pitt having fun with neighbor Matthew McConaughey. Both actors were in New Orleans for the “Make It Right,” annual gala. The foundation was formed by Brad Pitt in 2007, to meet the needs of families and communities on the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
The new tattoo is an adaption from Rumi’s poem titled Out Beyond Ideas of Wrongdoing and Rightdoing . Rumi was a 13th century Persian jurist, poet, theologian and Sufi mystic. He is one of the most acknowledged poets of his era and his poetry transcends all barriers of religion and culture. Rumi’s poetry is enriched with deep meaning and so are the words of the tattoo that adorns Pitt’s bicep. It is a very simple tattoo; a readable lettering done in black and grey, placed on the inside of his upper right arm. The tattoo states, There exists a field, beyond all notions of right and wrong.
