Formed in 2009, organizer Ragen St. Peter said the Ink Life Tour first came to Longview in 2012.

Last year, the tour entertained 9,000 people in Longview, according to St. Peter.

“Ink Life is a lifestyle event,” he said. “It’s a great opportunity to get quality tattoo art at a good price. People can get tattooed by any artist they want. You’re talking about artists who are booked out in their hometown six months ahead of time.”

The event will feature musical performances by Molly Hatchet, Lita Ford and Drowning Pool as well as human suspension shows by Tribe Suspension Team.

“There are very few events which can pull the different demographics as the Ink Life Tour does,” St. Peter said. “We push very hard to make this event open to everybody and very clean for all ages. Our tattoo artists, vendors and spectators are the nicest group of people you will ever meet.”

St. Peter said he and El Paso tattoo artist George Galindo created the tour to bring tattoo artists together from across America for a festival which would be exciting to the community.
